wordplayground

wordplayground is a side project that doesn't get much attention. originally it was a playspace to learn web development; it's evolved into an online journal, with a collection of things i've written since 1998 and some of my favorite poems by other authors. i'm posting things somewhat at random, with preference going to stuff that was already typed.

there's a lot posted on here that i don't think is necessarily good writing, but this journal is more for myself and my friends to see where i've been. i've tried to censor my own journal entries as little as possible, so things i've written in the past don't necessarily reflect my current relationship with the people referenced, especially with regard to entries about my family.

the photos in the corner are photos of my journals. i usually write on the computer now, and i feel like i've lost some of the effect of a journal that's a collage of scribbles, poems, drawings, and pictures taped in. i used the photos because on some entries that's just as important as the words themselves.
